This exhibit, curated by Randi O'Brien (Assistant Professor of Ceramics, Montana State University, Billings) as part of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) Convention in Cincinnati, Ohio March 15-18, 2023features pioneering Spanish, Latino, Hispanic, Chicano, and Latinx contemporary ceramic artists, including Kristy Moreno, Jonathan Christensen Caballero, Sydnie Jimenez, Haylie Jimenez, Gabo (Gabriela) Martinez, Nicole McLaughlin, George Rodriguez, Krissy Ramirez, Natalia Arbelaez, Jared Peterson, and more.

Curated to highlight the various cultural influences that merged into a uniquely creative sensibility, these emerging and contemporary artists along with the geographic dispersion of the artists captures individual artistry yet conveys a united contemporary flow. Unidos is an exhibition initiative that assesses the presence of Spanish, Latino, Hispanic, Chicano, and Latinx ceramic artists and their individual artistic 
identities within the united ceramics field.
